India: Central and State Governments Put Good Emphasis on Education
College lecturers and noblemen hailed the generosity of Bezawada Srinivasa Rao. College principal Arunakumari, Lecturers and the students expressed gratitude to NRI, Bezawada Srinivasa Rao and his wife.
NRI, Bezawada Srinivasa Rao gave away scholarships to the merit students of the Govt. High school, Tangutur on Tuesday. He presented Rs. 5,000/- to Uppalapati Sri Laxmi Jyothirmai and Rs.3,000/- to Devarapalli Praveen Kumar who are the toppers in the S.S.C examinations. He also distributed scholar ships to Raavi Anusha and Gandhavalla Jayasankar who are the toppers in the 7th class examinations. School Head-master Brahmaiah presided over the meeting. NRI, Bezawada Srinivasa Rao advised the students to cultivate the habit of competitive spirit for their academic progress. He told the students that he came from a poor family and with much self effort and dedication, he could now achieve a good position in life. He advised the students to work hard and be useful to society. His wife Koteswaramma, Ravi Kumar, Chemistry Lecturer Chakrapani, teachers Raghavaiah, Laxmi narayana, Radhakrishna Murthy, Ramana Kumar, Satyanarayana, Sarath babu, Sita ramaiah Chowdary and many others participated in the programme. At Jammulapalem: NRI, Bezawada Srinivasa Rao distributed scholarships to the students of Jammulapalem High School who topped in the S.S.C examinations. Mandadi Ananda Rao distributed Scholarships to the 7th class toppers on behalf of another NRI Mandadi Prakash Rao. Sarpanch Nirmala, Vice sarpanch Sudanagunta Srihari Rao and ward members took part in the function.
NRI Sri Bezwada Srinivasa Rao who hails from Jammulapalem village presented cash prizes to the toppers of Jammulapalem village High school . In the SSC march 2006 examinations, the school students Velchuri Siva secured 481 marks and Rayapati Susmitha secured 468 marks. Cash prizes of Rs.5000/- and Rs.3000/- respectively were given to them. In the VII th class examinations, Immidisetti chenchu Suresh secured 468 marks and Guduri Supriya secured 463 marks. These students were given cash prizes of Rs.5000/- and Rs.3000/- respectively by Sri Mandadi AnandaRao on behalf of his brother Sri Mandadi Prakasa Rao who is also an NRI.
The Head master, Sri Adusumalli Venkateswarlu presided over the meeting. NRI Sri Bezwada Srinivasa Rao spoke on the occasion and announced a sum of Rupees One lakh as donation to the school for the construction of compound wall to the school. Sri Ravi, Sri Purnachandra Rao also participated in the program.
